- Balanced and Aggressive Cutting Action
- Independent Cutting Paths: The three main carbide cutters are strategically placed to cut independent paths around the tool’s centreline.
- Cutter #1: Initiates the primary cut.
- Cutter #2: Makes a slightly deeper relief cut just inside the initial cut.
- Cutter #3: Breaks the resulting chip for easy removal.
- Advanced Steering and Wear Protection
- Carbide Studded Heel: Elevates the carbide cutters into the top of the tunnel, which both accelerates steering reaction and minimizes wear on the primary steering surface.
- Strategic Carbide Placement: All body carbide is soldered in place and precisely located on all steering surfaces and edges that lead into the cut, ensuring protection where it is needed most.
- Reinforced Bit Face: The bit face offers a significant area to support the 3 main cutters and is carbide lined for superior performance.
- Ease of Tripping: A bevelled, carbide protected back-end makes tripping-out (pulling the drill string back) easier.

- Easy Integration: Easily threads on to standard side-load or high-flow housings.
- Direct Pullback Capable: Fully capable of doing direct pullbacks using the Eagle Eye pullback device.
