Downhole Drilling Shaft
The impeller is attached to a shaft. The shaft is often made of steel or stainless steel to support the impeller. The sizes of the shafts must be measured accurately. An undersized shaft may increase pump vibration, reduce bearing life, cause shaft breakage, and shorten the overall pump life.
