Description
⚙️ 1. Where They’re Used
| Component | Function | Jet Role |
|---|---|---|
| Mixing Hopper | Feeds bentonite or polymer into the fluid stream | SS jets create a Venturi effect to draw dry material into the mud flow |
| Mud Tank (Agitation Section) | Keeps solids suspended and maintains uniform consistency | SS jets circulate and agitate the mud inside the tank |
| Recycling Tank | Separates and reconditions drilling fluid | SS jets help reintroduce and blend recycled mud |
🧩 2. How SS Jets Work
High-pressure mud (from a centrifugal pump) passes through the SS jet nozzle.
The narrow jet stream creates suction (Venturi effect).
This suction draws bentonite or polymer from the hopper.
The material mixes rapidly in the flow line, forming a homogeneous drilling fluid.
